The ADFIAP Sustainability Report 2009, as was its 2008 report, has been registered by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) in its list of organizations adhering to its sustainability reporting guidelines. The ADFIAP report, which is among the 868 reports world-wide registered as of this writing, focused on the Association Secretariat’s sustainability performance as measured by the G3 C level indicators of the GRI guidelines.

The theme of the 2009 report, “Playing our Part”, highlights the activities and achievements of ADFIAP in pursuit of its sustainable development mission by leading the way for its members to continue providing financial and technical assistance to initiatives that are socially-beneficial, environmentally-responsible and economically viable.

ADFIAP began adopting the GRI sustainability reporting guidelines for its Annual Report 2007 and launched its 1st Sustainability Report in 2008 during the 32nd ADFIAP Annual Meetings in Muscat, Oman.
