The World Federation of Development Financing Institutions (WFDFI), in cooperation with the Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE), is reviving its annual seminar for Chief Executives of Development Banks held last in 1998 as it will organize a “by-invitation only” seminar for development banks worldwide with the theme, “Institutional Integrity: Promoting Transparency & Accountability in DFIs” to be held on October 11, 2010 at the CIPE Conference Room in Washington, D.C.
This event will be in the periphery of the World Bank/IMF Annual Meetings to be held also in the U.S. capital city. A maximum of 40 CEOs and high-level officers of development banks from Africa, Asia-Pacific, Latin America and the Middle East are expected to participate in the half-day seminar. The Board of Governors of the World Federation is scheduled to meet after the morning seminar.
